This was my first visit to Shenandoah Downs and it was a great time! I’d never seen harness racing before and that was especially cool. They go really fast! Also the wiener dog races were hilarious! That was so much fun to see. Everybody here was super friendly! My karaoke tent was right where the action was so I got a front row seat. Here are some highlights!

Shenandoah Downs is located at the Shenandoah County Fairgrounds in Woodstock, Virginia, at I-81 at Exit 283, halfway between Harrisonburg and Winchester. The Street address is 300 Fairground Road, Woodstock, VA 22664. Phone is 540-459-4807. Email is [email protected]

Thanks to Aiden who helped me put my canopy up when it suddenly started to rain! The weather for Woodstock said “sunny” the whole time with no rain. Luckily I had the canopy ready just in case! (The system sounded fantastic this day. It always sounds even better than usual outside. Indoors is a little trickier to dial in because the sound bounces in the walls.)
